could improve but decent for its function
This is a nice app if someone wants to work on vocabulary. It’s nice because they give extra sentences to learn words in context.
My only complaints are that they don’t explain the words fully and switch between verb endings without explaining that either. It would be nice if they explained the grammar along with the vocabulary. It’s pretty important considering the hierarchies speakers are expected to use when speaking the Korean language. They also don’t give an explanation as to which words mean what, when one reads a sentence, which makes the reading a little linear and narrowed towards learning single phrases alone unless the learner is already familiar with the Korean language.
So, this app isn’t meant for a learners only tool for studying Korean language, especially if they’re just starting out because it might lead to bad learning habits - since the program doesn’t fully inform the learner about what they’re learning. However, it’s really nice for vocabulary practice for people who are familiar with the language and the structure of the language.
